Medical Coding Tuition


Tuition for our Medical Coding course ranges from $2,195 – $2,795 USD depending on your course of study and desired outcome. How long is the Apex Medical Coding Course


This course is meant to be completed at your own pace within a 9-month period or less. Apex also allows for an additional 3 months grace period, providing 12 full months to complete your coursework. Monthly course extensions may be purchased.

Student Support


After you enroll in our Medical Coding Course, you will be assigned a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) instructor and receive their contact information. Our CPC instructors have demonstrated at least five years’ experience in the coding and reimbursement related field. Instructors are current Certified Professional Coders, with a good standing certification, and have submitted two letters of recommendations, completed and passed an Instructor Training Course and maintain their approval through submitting their required Continuing Teaching Units (CTUs). Your CPC instructor will be responsible for grading your exams and be there to assist you throughout your studies. You will be able to contact them directly if you need assistance or have questions.

Upon successful completion of the Medical Coding Course graduates who pass the AAPC CPC exam and complete Practicum are eligible to achieve full CPC status upon submission of school transcripts to the AAPC. Practicum is an online rapid experience generation tool designed to teach and test medical coding proficiency using real, redacted medical records concentrated on the top hiring medical specialties.

The CPC exam voucher is valid for 12 months from date of purchase, giving you plenty of time after completion of your course, to study and review before taking the Certified Professional Coder (CPC®) certification exam from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
